Epikk
Ever since WoH was firstly announced that I was eager to try it out.
The mechanics felt good (at least on paper) and it would be something different without actually being something different (I mean, it wouldn’t be WaR, but it would still be a part of it).
I have a thing with Marauders.
I hate the way they look lower level (come on, they look like a square bodied He-Man that crawled out of the gimp-sewer) but I love the way they look high level (IMHO, Marauders still have the best looking Sovereign set)
And since they are chaos characters, they ride those cool rhino-horses. By far my favorite looking mount in the game (what can I say, I’m weird like that) AND they are MDPS (personal choice of archetype)
I logged on yesterday to find a guild only T3 warband going on.
Lately we had some older KF members coming back to the game and between having sold their accounts, deleted their characters, and simply wanting to try something new, we’ve been having some lower tier guys running around on a daily basis.
Without a second to waste, I relogged my DoK (her name is Cambria. Feel free to stab my face if you see me running about. I need the training.) and flew to Avelorn.
‘Twas a pleasant evening.
(FYI, this one is kind of long)
It’s been ages since I’ve been involved in a city defense. They simply haven’t happened that often at the times I usually play.
As a result of that, yesterday kinda found me in the mood to do it when Caledor fell to the enemy and the gates of the Inevitable City were once more vulnerable to the armies of The Emperor.
I’ve been hitting the field a little bit on and off again for the last couple of months. To be honest I would have loved not having to stop playing every now and then, specially these days, because things in Norn have been pretty good (at least during the evening and in the late hours of night), but alas, work has been preventing me from playing regularly.
I got Epikk in a pretty comfortable spot right now. Nice damage output, a little bit more survivability than I’m used to, and if it wasn’t for the fact that I have to farm scenarios for a decent weapon, it would all be perfect :P
Lately I’ve been playing my Chosen.
This Chosen was actually the first character I made on Destruction. During the Beta I played Order only, but when the game went live, the guys I was playing with wanted to try Destro, so we rolled some toons on the now defunct Karag-Dron.
Whenever christmas comes around it always interferes with my gaming.
This year it was kinda different. Instead of a one month interruption, it’s been 5 months since I stopped playing WAR.
I was kind of “afraid” to go back to WAR because of all the things that kept me away for 5 months… mainly RR related stuff and the huge gear gap, but the hunger for WAR eventually grew big enough that i just had to go play it again.
As obvious as it is, I haven’t played WAR since last year.
I did play some Rift during the time i was absent from WAR but i came to the conclusion that, even though the game is pretty well constructed, I can’t feed my MMO hunger with a game like Rift. There’s just not enough good PVP in that game.
Hello everyone.
Merry Christmas and all that jazz. I hope Sandy Claws brought you all that you wished for.
I miss the days that Christmas meant vacations… unfortunately those days are long gone, so, I’m gonna get back to work now.
cheers.
